the domain is a range of values of t (the x variable) that can give real values of y

Since the range ( y variable) is Rp= [0,100] ( round brackets mean excluding the two numbers while square means including ) since there are only 100 sheets of paper, no more no less

so the most t can be is when p=0, when t= 12.5, so domain is Dp= [0,12.5] after 12.5 min, there will be no paper left in the printer, so nothing can be printed

for D, sub t=7, so p(t) is the number of sheets left in the printer, you want to find the no. of sheets deducted so

p(t)=-8(7)+100

=100-15

=85

no. of pages in her report= 100-85= 15

Brittany deposited $3,000 in a new account at her bank.
babunello [35]

The total amount accrued, principal plus interest, with compound interest on a principal of $3,000.00 at a rate of 6% per year compounded 1 times per year over 3 years is $3,573.05.

Compound Interest

Given Data

 • Principal = $3000
 • Rate = 6%
 • Time = 3 years

A = P + I where

P (principal) = $3,000.00

I (interest) = $573.05

Calculation Steps:

First, convert R as a percent to r as a decimal

r = R/100

r = 6/100

r = 0.06 rate per year,

Then solve the equation for A

A = P(1 + r/n)^nt

A = 3,000.00(1 + 0.06/1)^(1)(3)

A = 3,000.00(1 + 0.06)^(3)

A = $3,573.05
