Even though this is not maths, let me help you. In order to answer the first question I suggest you to try to imagine what would happen if people had the power to genetically alter things. It might be helpful to think about how it would affect your life. In that case you would come up to the answer on what should I do with my genetic power.
Now for the second one, let me say that science cannot answer because results are not in the hands of the scientists, but in the hands of the people.
I hope this info can help

The largest possible circle is to be cut from a 12-foot square board. Calculate the approximate area, in square feet, of the rem
olchik [2.2K]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Find Area of the circle:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Area of a circle = πr²
Area of the largest possible circle = π x(12 ÷ 2)²
Area of the largest possible circle = 113.10 ft²

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Find Area of the square board:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Area of a square board = Length x Length
Area of the square board = 12 x 12
Area of the square board = 144 ft²

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Find area of the remaining board:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Area of the remaining board = 144 - 113.10
Area of the remaining board = 30.90 ft²

Find the perimeter. Simplify your answer.
Maru [420]

Answer:

Perimeter = 24p + 17

Step-by-step explanation:

Perimeter = the sum of the sides of the figure.

Perimeter = (7p + 9) + (10p - 1) + (7p + 9)

Perimeter = (7p + 10p + 7p) + (9 - 1 + 9)

Perimeter = 24p + 17
