A bag is filled with green and blue marbles. There are 97 marbles in the bag. If there are 9 more green marbles than blue marble

So that means that there are 106 green marbles
And to find the total
You just add 106 + 97
Which equals 203 total marbles

Let the green marbles be G
and the blue marbles be B
9 + G = B
G+B=97
this brings us to simultaneous equation
G = B-9 (using eq.1)
sub into eq2
B-9+B=97
2B=106
B=53
if there are 53 blue marbles in the bag
therefore there are 44 Green marbles
