Vincent is going to frame a rectangular picture with the dimensions shown :-

Length (L) = 5x+7y

Width (W) = 4x-2y

We know the formula of perimeter of rectangle is given by :-

Perimeter = 2·(length + width)

P = 2·(L+W) = 2L + 2W

P = 2·(5x+7y) + 2·(4x-2y)

P = 10x + 14y + 8x - 4y

P = 10x + 8x + 14y - 4y

P = 18x + 10y

So final answer is P = 18x + 10y.

Given: AG and IC are common internal tangents of H and B. HI = 8, ED = 2, and EF = ED. What is the measure of AE?
ki77a [65]
AE = 6

This is because ABE is a right triangle with the right angle being angle BAE. We know that AB = 8 and EB = 10, so we can use the Pythagorean Thoerem to find AE.

100 POINTS.

PLEASE PROVIDE STEP BY STEP ANSWER

THANK YOU.
stellarik [79]

Step-by-step explanation:

W(x) = (10x⁴ − 8) (30x + 25)^0.5

A) Take log of both sides.

ln(W) = ln[(10x⁴ − 8) (30x + 25)^0.5]

ln(W) = ln(10x⁴ − 8) + ln[(30x + 25)^0.5]

ln(W) = ln(10x⁴ − 8) + 0.5 ln(30x + 25)

Take derivative.

W' / W = 40x³ / (10x⁴ − 8) + 0.5 (30) / (30x + 25)

W' / W = 20x³ / (5x⁴ − 4) + 3 / (6x + 5)

W' = W [20x³ / (5x⁴ − 4) + 3 / (6x + 5)]

W'(x) = (10x⁴ − 8) (30x + 25)^0.5 [20x³ / (5x⁴ − 4) + 3 / (6x + 5)]

B) Evaluate at x = 0.

W'(0) = (0 − 8) (0 + 25)^0.5 [0 / (0 − 4) + 3 / (0 + 5)]

W'(0) = (-8) (5) (0 + 3/5)

W'(0) = -24

Using synthetic division, find (x6 − 250x2 − 96) (x − 4).
liraira [26]
We are asked to perform synthetic division of the given expression such as (x6 - 250x2 - 96) by (x-4). In order for us to solve this problem, we need to complete the expression and fill the missing part such as:
x6 + 0x5 + 0x4 + 0x3 - 250x2 +0x -96

Then start the solution such as;
+4    | 1   0    0    0    -250    0   -96
        |      4   16   64   256   24   96
        |-------------------------------------------
          1    4   16   64      6     24   0

The answer is X5 + 4X4 + 16X3 + 64X2 + 6X + 24 with no remainder.
