as far as I read you, the factors of the multiplication should be between 0.05 and 0.75, not being 0.05 or 0.75 but in between only.

a good example of that could be say 0.5 and 0.5, 0.5*0.5 = 0.25, and

0.05.................0.25........................................................0.75.

or say 0.15 and 3, 0.15*3 = 0.45 and

0.05...................................0.45.......................................0.75.

Which of the following represents two lines that are coplanar and do not intersect?
OverLord2011 [107]

Question:

Which of the following represents two lines that are coplanar and do not intersect?

A. Perpendicular

B. Skew

C. Parallel

D. Intersecting

Answer:

Two lines that are co -planar and do not intersect is  Parallel.

Step-by-step explanation:

Two lines are said to be parallel if they lie in the same plane, and are the same distance apart over their entire length. Each line has many parallels. Any line that has the same slope as the original will never intersect with it.  Hence Parallel Lines would never cross, even if extended forever. Technically parallel lines are two coplanar which means they share the same plane or they're in the same plane that never intersect

Tessie has a volleyball game at 6:45 p.m. she needs to be there 15 minutes early to warm up for the game and it takes her 40 min
const2013 [10]
First we need to add the time she takes warming and the time she takes going to the the gym:
15minutes+40minutes=45minutes

Next, we area going to subtract those 45 minutes from the time the game begins:
6:45pm-45minutes=6:00pm

We can conclude that she should leaver her house at 6:00 pm if she wants to get in time for her 6:45 pm game.

A rectangular jewelry box costs $125 to gold plate. Calculate the cost of gold plating a box which is similar in shape and that
Alja [10]
To determine the amount of gold plating necessary for the similar box, you will use the fact that it is 8 times larger in volume to determine how many times larger the area is.  This would be what you will multiply $125 by.

Volume is a three dimensional measurement, so the fact that it is 8 times larger tells us each dimension was 2 times larger (2 x 2 x 2=8).

Area is a two dimensional measurement, so the area would have been 2 x 2 or 4 times larger.  This means the price would be 4 times as much.
$125 x 4 = $500.

It will cost $500 to gold plate the similar jewelry box.
