For the first statement: An ecosystem with populations that mate with unrelated species.

The ecosystem will more stable. The mating with unrelated specie will create the ability to cop with any disaster and the chances of extinction of any specie will become very less.

For the second statement: an ecosystem that has very few species at every trophic level.

Less stable.

An ecosystem which has a very low number of species ins not so stable because of less biodiversity. Biodiversity is directly proportional to the stability of the specie.

For the third statement: An ecosystem with populations that mate with only related species.

Less stable.

The specie which does not have the ability to mate with unrelated specie makes an unstable ecosystem. Because if any thing happens to the ecosystem like climate change, that specie will unable to evolve and go extinct immediately.

For the fourth statement: An ecosystem that has many species at every trophic level .

More stable:

The ecosystem having a large number of biodiversity at each trophic level leads to a stable an ecosystem. Because biodiversity is directly proportional to the stability of the specie.

Answer:

With increase of deer, there will be a decrease of producers.

Explanation:

Increasing of deer populations means decreasing of producers. As more and more deers are eating plants, the producer population will decrease. Thus, the producer population are in demand and deers will eventually need to fight for food with other deers–– this is known as competition, which is a biotic factor. An abiotic factor can be lack of oxygen once the producer population has been decreased due to the increase deer population.

Identify the true statement. Choose one: A. The Sahara Desert has always been an arid region with few surface-water streams. B.
faltersainse [42]

B. Oases are sourced by springs and are regions where groundwater intersects the land surface.

Explanation:

The only true statement is that oases are sourced by springs and regions where ground water intersects the land surface.

 • Oases are water bodies found in desert and arid areas.
 • They are usually surrounded by fertile patches of soil.
 • Oases forms when the land surface intersects the water table.
 • They can also be fed by temporary surface water from nearby rivers.

Fossil remains have suggested that the region of the Sahara desert was once a lush green tropical region.

In present day, it is a desert with huge underground water reserves in aquifers.

_61. An iodine solution is placed on the cut side of a potato. With in seconds, a blue-black color appears.
sveticcg [70]

An iodine solution is placed on the cut side of a potato. With in seconds, a blue-black color appears thus showing "positive test for starches".

Option: B

Explanation:

Amylose in starch is accountable in the existence of iodine for production of a deep blue shade. Within the amylose coil the iodine molecule slips. Attach a solution or directly to a potato or other products such as pasta, crackers, or flour with Iodine-KI reagent. If starch is available a blue-black color results.

If starch amylose is not available then orange or yellow will remain the color. Variations in some inorganic reactions to the reduction of oxidation, iodine may be used as an indicator for following changes in iodide ion and iodine product. Soluble solvent is applied to the starch.
