Answer:

2. Each child will get a total of 42 cards

4.Each floor board is 0.23 feet wide

Step-by-step explanation:

No 2:

Total cards he have = 126

Total no of children = Rafael and his two sisters= 1 + 2

                                 = 3 children

As it is given that he has given each child same no of cards

so

No of cards given = Total cards / total children

                              = 126 / 3

                               = 42 cards

So each child will get a total of 42 cards

No 4:

Total floor boards = 60

Width of floor = 14 feet wide

To find the length of each floor board when the each floor board is of same width

Now

Width of each floor board = Width of floor/total floor boards

                                            = 14 / 60

                                             =0.23 feet

So each floor board is 0.23 feet wide

Write the equation of each circle given its center and a point P that it passes through
Sedbober [7]

Answer:

(x-1)^2+(y+2)^2=25.

Step-by-step explanation:

If the center of the circle is (1,-2) and the circle passes through the point (4,2), then the radius of the circle is

r=\sqrt{(1-4)^2+(-2-2)^2}=\sqrt{9+16}=5.

The equation of the circle with center (x_0,y_0) and radius r is

(x-x_0)^2+(y-y_0)^2=r^2.

In your case, the equation is

(x-1)^2+(y+2)^2=25.

Money in the beginning: 400$.

Money after the first raise: 400$+5%*400$=420$

5%*400= 5*400/100=20$

The second raise is applied on the money AFTER THE FIRST RAISE.

420$+6%*420=445.2$

6%*420= 420*6/100 = 25.2$
