Answer:

43,000 units

Explanation:

Given that,

Projected sales in August = 48,000

Projected sales in September = 38,000

Projected sales in October = 58,000

Ending inventory is the 25% of the next month's sales.

The units purchased in the month of September includes the amount of sales in this month and the amount of ending inventory for this month but the amount of beginning inventory excludes from this calculation of purchases.

Ending inventory for September:

= 25% of the next month's sales

= 0.25 × Sales in October

= 0.25 × 58,000

= 14,500

Here, the opening inventory for September is the amount of ending inventory for August.

Opening inventory for September:

= 0.25 × Sales in September

= 0.25 × 38,000

= 9,500

Units to be purchased:

= Sales in September + Ending inventory for September - Opening inventory for September

= 38,000 units + 14,500 - 9,500

= 43,000 units

Answer:

43,000 units

Explanation:

The calculation of purchased units is shown below:-

Units to be Purchased (September) = Sales + (Ending Inventory for September) - (Opening Inventory for September)

= 38,000 + (25% × 58,000) - (25% × 38,000)

= 38,000 + 14,500 - 9,500

= 52,500 - 9,500

= 43,000 units

Therefore for computing the units to be purchased in September we simply applied the above formula.

A U.S. Treasury bill with 157 days to maturity is quoted at a discount yield of 2.62 percent. Assume a $1 million face value. Wh
cupoosta [38]

Answer:

2.76%

Explanation:

Discount yield = ((Par Value - Price) / Par Value) * (365 / d) * 100

Price =Par value - {(Discount yield × Par Value × d)/ (365 × 100) }

price =1,000,000 - { (2.62 × 1,000,000 × 157)/36,500} = $988,730

Bond Equivalent Yield = ((Par Value - Price) / Price) * (365 / d) * 100

d is days of maturity

BEY =( (1,000,000 - 988,730)/988,730) × (365/157) × 100 = 2.76%

riadik2000 [5.3K]

Answer:

d. the difference between the market price of the coffee and the contract price.

Explanation:

Damages can be described as the loss caused by a breach of a contract. They are measured and expressed in monetary units.  Damages arise because one person in a contract has not fulfilled their obligation. As a result, the innocent party suffers losses or injury.

Damage compensation should take an injured party to where they should have been if the contract was not breached. For Marie, If the contract was not breached, she would have bought the coffee at $5 per pound. Her damages would be the difference between the price she eventually paid for the coffee, and the contract price of $5.
