Uri asked six friends how many different foreign countries they’d been to. He recorded 0, 1, 1, 2, 5, and 9 countries visited. What is the mean absolute deviation of countries visited? Round to the nearest tenth, if needed.

First find the mean 0+1+1+2+5+9=18 18/6(Number of points in data set) =3 then check the distance of each number to the mean
3 and 0 = 3
3 and 1 = 2
3 and 1 = 2
3 and 2 = 1
3 and 5 = 2
3 and 9 = 6
then find the mean of those numbers so 3+2+2+1+2+6=16 16/6 = 2.66667(continuing)
So the answer in 2.66
