To determine whether they used the same number of tiles, set the two expressions equal to each other and solve for x. Is there a solution for x? Why or why not? If there is a solution, what is it?

Here is the equation stuff to solve:

Expression for the number of tiles Bruce used : 5x+2

Expression for the number of tiles Felicia used : 5x + 5

How could you change the equation so it has infinitely many solutions? What would infinitely many solutions mean in terms of the situation?

Answer:

Change the +2 from Bruce number of tiles to +5. Infinitely many solutions would mean that they have a equal amount of tiles I think.

Step-by-step explanation:

5x+2=5x+5

2=5

fgiga [73]

Answer:

In a right angled triangle

Step-by-step explanation:

The two non-right angles are complementary, because in a triangle the three angles add to 180°, and 90° has already been taken by the right angle. When two angles add to 90°, we say they "Complement" each other. because the right angle is thought of as being a complete angle.

1. The area is 1.875 meters², or 1 7/8 as a fraction because 2.5 (2 1/2) times .75 (3/4) = 1.875 (1 7/8).

2. The mural is 1.687 meters², or 1 687/1000 as a fraction because 2.25 (2 1/4) times .75 (3/4) = 1.687.

Write 15.1 as a fraction
mel-nik [20]
If you want to convert 15.1 into a fraction, you can do it like this:
15 equals to 15/1 and 0.1 equals to 1/10
The result is 15 1/10.

If you want to make it a pure fraction, you have to make one additional step:
because you want to add 15/1 and 1/10, you have to get the same denominators, so 15/1 changes to 150/10.
Now, you can add 150/10 and 1/10. The result is 151/10.
