Answer:

1. The cheetah is a carnivore.

2. The tree is a producer.

3. The mushroom is a decompose.

4. The gazelle is a herbivore.

Explanation:

Organisms can be classified by their food type.

Carnivores eat other animals.

Herbivores eat plants.

Decomposers break down dead animals by decomposition.

Omnivores eat plants, animals, fungi, bacterias.

Producers make their own food from inorganic matter.

Andrew [12]

Genetic variation & Heredity

Explanation:

 • HEREDITY ONLY: none , genetic variation: none
 • BOTH: all fertilization , metaphase 1→anaphase & 1 metaphase 2→anaphase 2 crossing over
 • DNA replication
 • In organisms that reproduce sexually, the processes of DNA replication, the precise pairing of homologs during crossing over, chromosome alignment and separation in meiosis I and II, and fertilization ensure that traits pass from one generation to the next
 • Unlike with asexual reproduction, offspring of sexual reproduction are genetically different from each other and from both of their parents. Mechanisms that contribute to genetic variation include:
 • Errors (mutations) that occur during DNA replication . The production of recombinant chromosomes due to crossing over . The independent assortment of homologous chromosomes in meiosis I
 • The separation of sister chromatids (which are no longer identical due to crossing over) in meiosis II
 • The random fusion of male and female gametes during fertilization

How is cross-fertilization advantageous over asexual reproduction?
Aneli [31]
Cross-fertilization is the binding of female and male gametes or the sex cells from two different individuals given they are of the same species. On the other hand, asexual reproduction involves the formation of offspring only from a single individual where a cell only makes a copy of itself. It is advantageous since it would introduce diversity to a species which would help it to be more resistant to any factors that could damage it like diseases.

Carbon Dioxide + Water = Glucose + Water
Carbon Dioxide is an input of Photosynthesis which is a process mainly plants use to make their own 'food' (organic compounds).

Carbon is removed from the atmosphere and put into food through PHOTOSYNTHESIS :)

From complete stop, a car reaches a velocity of 280 km/s east in 7 seconds. What is the rate of acceleration?
Triss [41]

(C) 40 km/s

Explanation:

Divide your km/s and your seconds.

Equation: km/s divided by seconds = acceleration

- 280 km/s divided by 7 seconds = 40 km/s acceleration

Hope this helps you
