Alternative ways of representing nucleic acid chains, in this case a single strand of DNA containing only three bases: cytosine (C), adenine (A), and guanine (G). ... This structural difference is critical to the different functions of the two types of nucleic acids.

The arrangement of the nucleotide within the genes is different among the DNA structures of different species.

Further Explanation:

DNA is a complex molecule composed of nitrogenous bases, deoxyribose sugar, and phosphate groups attached by glycosidic, phosphoanhydride and hydrogen bonds. Four types of bases are present in DNA adenine, cytosine, guanine, and thymine. A codon is a triplet of the sequence of mRNA that mainly identifies an amino acid. The genetic code expresses the sequence of genetic information in the proteins. The genes that code for proteins are the tri-nucleotide units. A polymer of amino acids makes up a protein chain. The process of translation involves the conversion of an mRNA strand to a chain of amino acids. These units are called codons and each codon codes for a single amino acid. The arrangement of nucleotides differs from an individual to another.

Explain how the energy would flow between the following organisms: A fox,<br> grass, and a rabbit.
tester [92]

Answer:

grass----- rabbit----- fox

Explanation:

A food chain always starts with a producer, which is an organism that makes food. This is usually a green plant, because plants can make their own food by photosynthesis. A food chain ends with a consumer, which is an animal that eats a plant or another animal.

Green plants are producers

They are the first link in all food chains

Plant cells contain chlorophyll and can photosynthesise

Photosynthesis produces glucose and oxygen

Animals are consumers

If they eat plants, they are the first-order consumers or herbivores

The chemical energy in the green plants is transferred to the animal when it eats the plant .
