Okay, so first lets do the equation.

3/2(2+4b)
6/2 + 12/2b
3 + 6b

Now let us see if any of the equations in the box are equal to 3 + 6b.

Well we know that the first one is a no.

For the second on, 3(2b + 1), we get 6b + 3 which is equal to 3 + 6b.

The third one is not correct.

And of course the third one is correct.

So the answer is...

24b = no

3(2b+1) = yes

(6b + 2b) = no

6b + 3 = yes

The question gives you 3.5 hours for the first one, $14 for rental(which you solved in the previous problem) for the second one, + $7(also solved in previous problem) for the third one. Solving the equation will give you 56 for the fourth blank. Solving and dividing by 2, you get 28 for the fifth blank.

Given m||n, find the value of x.
+
(5x+16)
mm
(6x-7)
kupik [55]

Based on the definition of congruent angles, the value of x is: 23.

What are Congruent Angles?

Congruent angles have the same measure. Examples of angles that are congruent are:

 • Alternate interior angles
 • Alternate exterior angles
 • Corresponding angles

Thus:

(5x + 16) = (6x - 7) -- congruent angles

Combine like terms

5x - 6x = -16 - 7

-x = -23

x = 23

Therefore, based on the definition of congruent angles, the value of x is: 23.

Solve for theta in the interval 0<theta<2pi.
cos(theta)sin(theta)-0.5 cos(theta)=0
riadik2000 [5.3K]
CosOsinO - 0.5 cosO = 0

cosO(sinO - 0.5) = 0

so cosO = 0 , sin O = 0.5

cosO = 0 gives O = pi/2 , 3pi/2
sinO = 0.5 gives O = pi/6, 5pi/6.

Factor completely 5xy3 15x3y2 − 30x2y2. 5(xy3 3x3y2 − 6x2y2) 5x(y3 3x2y2 − 6xy2) 5xy2(y 3x2 − 6x) Prime.
Mandarinka [93]

Factoring an expression involves rewriting the expression in simplier form

The factored expression of 5xy^3 + 15x^3y^2 - 30x^2y^2 is 5xy^2(y + 3x^2 - 6x)

How to factor the expression

The expression is given as:

5xy^3 + 15x^3y^2 - 30x^2y^2

Factor out 5x from the expression

5x(y^3 + 3x^2y^2 - 6xy^2)

Factor out y^2 from the expression

5xy^2(y + 3x^2 - 6x)

Hence, the factored expression of 5xy^3 + 15x^3y^2 - 30x^2y^2 is 5xy^2(y + 3x^2 - 6x)
