In what way do rivers symbolize people in "The Negro Speaks of Rivers"?

I'd say the answer is A) like rivers, people keep moving and finding new paths.
He wants to say that even black people will manage to find a good future, following a new path, the same way any other human being will.
The other examples do not seem correct to me.

I think this may be the case because the translator who I assume is the journalist raised his voice at Iqbal as did the mother to Iqbal's answer to the question about what happened after the shot was fired and the fact that Iqbal was " crying and confused" may mean he has some guilt in the affair. </span>
