Check the picture below.

bear in mind that the "point of tangency", namely where the tangent touches the circle, with the radius of a circle, are always at a right-angle, therefore ∡OBZ is a right-angle.

Answer:

The correct option is 2.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given information: WZ is tangent to circle O at point B.

According to the tangent of circle theorem: The tangent line is perpendicular to the radius at the point of tangency. It means the angle formed on the point of tangency by tangent and radius is a right angle.

Since WZ is tangent to circle O at point B and OB is radius, therefore

\angle OBZ=90^{\circ}

Therefore correct option is 2.

Kaylis [27]
Answer:
6.9 oz and 8.1 oz

Explanation:
The data collected by Lucilla is as follows:
7.1 oz
6.9 oz
7.3 oz
7.6 oz
8.1 oz
7.5 oz

We need to put this data in order, this will give us:
6.9 , 7.1 , 7.3 , 7.5 , 7.6 and 8.1

We can note that:
smallest value is 6.9 oz
largest value is 8.1 oz
all other values fall in this range

Therefore, the weight of an orange based on her calculations is between 6.9 oz and 8.1 oz

Hope this helps :)
