What will my total change back be

You can subtract. First you will have to subtract 11.43 from 20.... that will give you 8.57 justy remember when subtracting decimals DO NOT move the decimal place :)

2. Determine how much paid

3. Subtract 20-11.43

4. You're answer from step 3 should be $ 8.57

So, The total change you receive is $8.57 because the total cost of the item was $11.43 and the amount you paid was $20. When you subtract both numbers you should get $8.57
