If you're starting at 2:00 PM, then the elapsed time will be 13 hrs. and 40 min. and if you're starting at 3:40 AM then the elapsed time would be 10 hrs. and 20 mins. hope this helps

3:40 am to 2:00 pm...

3:40 am to 1:40 pm = 10 hrs....now add 20 minutes = 10 hrs and 20 minutes
