Answer:

m ∠ 1 = 60°

Step-by-step explanation:

When 2 lines are parallel and are crossed by another line known as transversal line the angles in matching corner is known as corresponding angles . In this case when the two lines are parallel, corresponding angles are equal. This means angle 60 ° is the same as the angle on the second line which is opposite to the ∠1 .

Angle on a straight line = 180°

so the angle that runs on that second parallel line is 180° . The angle on the other left side = 180 - 60 = 120°.

The total angle on a straight line of that transversal line = 180° The angle 1 can be gotten when you subtract 120 ° from 180° = 60°.

Therefore,

m ∠ 1 = 60°

Or

You can just say 60° is an alternate exterior angle to m∠1 .

In “We Wear the Mask,” how does the poet use irony to reject the romantic notion of idealism? by describing how people attempt t
KIM [24]

Answer:

The correct answer is the first one - by describing how people attempt to hide their pain by pretending to be happy.

The poet wants to show that people are constantly wearing masks to hide their real emotions. They pretend to be happy so that others wouldn't realize how they truly feel - they don't want to be that vulnerable and open up to others about their real emotions.

Nora ordered a set of purple and green pins. She received 50 pins, and 70% of them were
Paladinen [302]

Answer:

Nora received 35 purple pins.

Step-by-step explanation:

If Nora received 50 pins, and 70% of the pins were purple, to calculate the number of purple pins Nora received, we must find 70% of 50.

To find 70% of 50, we can multiply 50 by the decimal form of 70%:

50 * .7=35

Therefore, we can conclude that since 70% of the 50 pins Nora received were purple, and 70% of 50 is 35, Nora received 35 purple pins.
