The correct answer is "Zoning codes controlled the types of buildings, where they were built, and encouraged safety improvements.

In the early days of the Industrial Revolution, the number of buildings to accommodate the great numbers of people coming from the countryside grew disorderly, which resulted in narrow, filthy, and bad-smelling streets where diseases and epidemics could spread rapidly.

What could they add to their argument against slavery that would make their argument stronger or more convincing?
nydimaria [60]

Answer:

If I were to add something that would make my argument against slavery more convincing I would probably say something like what is the roles were switched, would you want to be a slave?

When people went to Africa or when they bought slaves they would often say something like it was in the bible and because of this that it was okay when this was not true so you could possibly use that to help your argument against it. There are probably better answers out there but I wrote a argument against slavery once and I used this stuff in and got a pretty good grade.

igomit [66]

Answer:

So we would have evidence. We don't want to make people think we copied our answers or looked them up. We want to set a good example. We want to show what we know.
