Mathematics

Answer with explanation:

The Meaning of the term Reflection Symmetry is that, the line which divides the geometrical shape into two congruent Parts.

First one is Isosceles Triangle, Second one is Trapezoid, Third one is Closed shape , fourth one appears Scalene Triangle.

There is no line in a trapezoid through which the two parts appear congruent to each other, neither that line can be found in closed curve nor in Scalene triangle.

But , if you draw a line through that vertex of Isosceles triangle where two equal congruent Sides intersect, then that line will be Reflection symmetry of line.

If DF = 9x - 39, find Ef
Leviafan [203]
|DF| = |DE| + |EF| |DF| = 9x -36 |DE| = 47 |EF| = 3x+10 Substitute: 9x - 39 = 47 + 3x + 10 9x - 39 = 3x + 57 |+39 9x = 3x + 96 |-3x 6x = 96 |:6 x = 16 Put the value of x to the equation |EF| = 3x + 10 |EF| = (3)(16) + 10 = 48 + 10 = 58 Answer: |EF| = 58
