Answer:

He relied on Chinese advisors, rather than Mongols from his own tribe, to help him rule.

Explanation:

Kublai Khan was a Mongol great military leader, the grandson of Genghis Khan. He conquered and ruled the whole of China since 1279, founding the Yuan dynasty. He vanquished the Song dynasty.

As it has happened several times in the long history of China, he and his people adopted many Chinese customs and cultural norms and practices; Chinese culture was advanced and more sophisticaded than Mongol culture. He was quite benevolent, accomplished some great public works, and promoted religious tolerance. He relied heavily on Chinese advisors in his court.

...Its the reason why you have your freedom? The reason we aren't under the control of the British Empire? Why didn't you learn this in second grade? It was the reason America is well... America. It was the first war America fought for the freedom of her people. One could argue the most important war in American history, and possible even the WORLD for that matter, because who knows what the world would be like today if America didn't come to be.
