In their conservation, Jane Eyre and Edward Fairfax Rochester both try to draw each one out of there hidden character. Jane tries to understand the behavior of Rochester towards her in the beginning, which eventually changed when Jane saves him from fire. Rochester tries to understand her because she is quite different from the other female he has ever meet. She had lived as a life of a nun with refined thought, which always puzzles Rochester. They both speak as equal rather than as master and employee.
