Prepare the Sales Budget assuming: 1. Expected sales volume: 8,000 units for the first quarter, an increase of 20% is expected f

or the second quarter, a decrease of 10% for the third quarter, and an increase of 25% for the fourth quarter. 2. The sales price should be $75.00 for the first two quarters and $82.50 for the last two quarters.
Prepare the Production Budget assuming: 1. The company believes it can meet future sales needs with an ending inventory of 25% of the next quarter, for the first two quarters, and 35% of the next quarter, for the last two quarters. 2. The expected sales in units for the first quarter of 2021 is 11,000.

Answer:

Sales budget $     for the 4 quarters is  $ 600,000    $ 720,000            $594000 and $ 825,000

Production Budget in units for the four quarters i s     7997.6            9000             8900  and  10,350 units

Step-by-step explanation:

Sales Budget

Quarters               I                    II                    III                    IV

Sales Volume    8000           9600                7200            10,000

<u>Sales Price       $75.00        $75.00           $ 82.50            $82.50 </u>

<u>Sales $              600,000     720,000            594000         825,000  </u>

We calculate the sales volume by applying the given percent to the sales units for each quarter. Then multiply it with the sales price to get the sales budget.

Production Budget

Quarters               I                    II                    III                    IV

Sales Volume    8000           9600                7200            10,000

+ Desired

Ending Inv.      2400            1800                3500               3850

<u>Less Opening   -----              2400               1800               3500           </u>

<u>Production      7997.6            9000             8900                10,350          </u>

We find the production budget units by adding the desired  ending inventory and subtracting the opening inventory from the sales units calculated above. The ending inventory of one quarter is the opening inventory of the next quarter.As we do not know the ending inventory of the previous year we cannot find the opening inventory of the 1st quarter of the year .

Can anyone teach me how to calculate this surface area ?
Firlakuza [10]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

oof. okay.

so basically you have to find the area of each face of this shape

so I will write each area for you just so that I can keep track of where I am.

So the top one is 2*3=6

and then the side of that is 3*1=3

and then the next stair is 3*1 =3

and then again another 3*1=3

and the top of the bottom stair is 3*1=3

the side of that last one is 2*3=6

the back of the stair thingy is 4*3=12

now the weird side is (4*2)+(3*1)+(2*1)=13

you need two of those sides so another (4*2)+(3*1)+(2*1)=13

<em>(for these ones I divided it up into three parts; one were each star begins making it appear that there is a small rectangle on top of a medium rectangle on top of a large rectangle)</em>

and the bottom is 4*3=12

so then you add them all up

6+3+3+3+3+6+12+13+13+12

that all equals 74

I hope this helps!

The velocity of an object is given by the following function defined on a specified interval. Approximate the displacement of th
harkovskaia [24]

Answer:

The displacement of the object on this intervals is 1.33 m.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that,

The function of velocity is

v=\dfrac{1}{2t+4}\ m/s

For 0 ≤ t ≤8 , n = 2

We need to calculate the intervals

Using formula for intervals

For, n = 1

\Delta x=\dfrac{t_{f}-t_{i}}{n}

\Delta x=\dfrac{8-0}{2}

\Delta x=4

So, The intervals are (0,4), (4,8)

We need to calculate the velocity

Using given function

v=\dfrac{1}{2t+4}

For first interval (0,4),

Put the value into the formula

v_{0}=\dfrac{1}{2\times0+4}

v_{0}=\dfrac{1}{4}

For first interval (4,8),

Put the value into the formula

v_{4}=\dfrac{1}{2\times4+4}

v_{4}=\dfrac{1}{12}

We need to calculate the total displacement

Using formula of displacement

D=(v_{0}+v_{4})\times(\Delta x)

Put the value into the formula

D=(\dfrac{1}{4}+\dfrac{1}{12})\times4

D=1.33\ m

Hence, The displacement of the object on this intervals is 1.33 m.

Three friends arrive at a party their arrival increases the number of people at the party by 20% in total how many people are no
rodikova [14]

Answer:

18 people

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the number of people at the party before the arrival be x

20% of x = 3

20/100 * x = 3

20x = 300

x = 300/20

x = 15

Adding the friends , we have 15 + 3 = 18
