Given : Cost of Soda = $2.25

Total Cost of Popcorn and Soda = $4.25 + $2.25 = $6.50

Given : Sales tax on Total Bill = 5%

We need to find 5% of $6.50, in order to have the amount of Sales tax

⇒ 5% of $6.50 =  $\frac{5}{100} \times 6.50 = 0.05 \times 6.50 = 0.325$

⇒ Total Bill = Cost of both Popcorn and Soda + Sales tax on the both

⇒ Total Bill = $6.50 + $0.325 = $6.825
