No because a right triangle always has a right angle

Think about it....a triangle has all 3 angles, when added, equal to 180 degrees....if one angle is a right angle (90 degrees). that would mean the other 2 angles have to add up to 90 degrees. An obtuse angle is more then 90 degrees. So ur answer is No....a right triangle can never have an obtuse angle.

Which describes the shape of the distribution of total points in Mr. Price's science class?
Nimfa-mama [501]
A bell curve describes a random distribution where at either end is a low amount with the middle representing a higher amount of points.

So at either ends are “extremes” were someone scored really low or really high. The middle presents the average where most people will score

In a study of the effect of handedness on athletic ability, participants were divided into three groups: right-handed, left-hand
inessss [21]

Answer:

Option A) Discrete and quantitative

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given the following situation in the question:

In a study of the effect of handedness on athletic ability.

Variable 1: Handedness - right-handed, left-handed, and ambidextrous

Variable 2:  Athletic ability measured on a 12-point scale.

Dependent Variable:

  • The dependent variable is the response variable and its value depends on the independent variable.
  • A change in independent variable leads to a change in the dependent variable.

For the given case the athlete ability is the dependent variable that depends on the independent variable of handedness.

Athletic ability is measured on a 12 point scale. thus, it can take numerical values from 0 to 12.

Thus, it is a quantitative variable.

Since theses values are always expressed in whole numbers and not in decimals so they cannot take all the values within an interval.

Thus, it is a discrete variable.

Option A) Discrete and quantitative
