<u>Answer-</u>

<em>Area of the kite is</em><em> 14.0 sq.units</em>

<u>Solution-</u>

\text{Area}_{WXYZ}=\text{Area}_{WXY}+\text{Area}_{WZY}

From the graph, in the triangle WXY

Base = WY=4 units,

Height = 3 units

\text{Area}_{WXY}=\dfrac{1}{2} \cdot base\cdot height=\dfrac{1}{2} \cdot 4\cdot 3=6\ sq.unit

From the graph, in the triangle WZY

Base = WY=4 units,

Height = 4 units

\text{Area}_{WZY}=\dfrac{1}{2} \cdot base\cdot height=\dfrac{1}{2} \cdot 4\cdot 4=8\ sq.unit

\therefore \text{Area}_{WXYZ}=6+8=14\ sq.units

Hello! My name is Chris and I’ll be helping you with this problem.

Date: 9/27/20  Time:  9:50 pm CST

Answer:

Mean : 15.25

Median : 17

Mode : 12

Range : 6

Explanation:

Mean:  Add up all numbers and divide by the quantity

of numbers : 12 + 17 + 12 + 18 + 17.25 = 76.25 | 76.25 / 5 = 15.25

Median: All numbers in from least to greatest, the one in the middle of all the numbers is the median. 12, 12, 17, 17.25, 18

Mode: Mode is what number appears most often in the set. 12, 17, 12, 18, 17.25

Lastly, Range: Range is the difference

between the highest and lowest numbers in the set 18 - 12 = 6

I hope this helped answer your question! Have a great rest of your day!

What are accepted without proof in a logical system?
aleksklad [387]
<span>The question says,'what are accepted without proof in a logical system. The answers are axiom and postulates. On the basis of logic, axioms and postulates are statements that are considered to be self evident. They are believed to be true without any demonstration. They often serve as premises for making further arguements.</span>

Given f(x)=sec x and g(x)=arcsin x, what is f(g(x))?
Dominik [7]

Answer:

Option 1 is correct.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given two functions  f(x)=sec x and g(x)=arcsin x

we have to find f(g(x)).

f(g(x))=sec(arcsinx)=sec A where A=arc(sinx)

As, A=arc(sinx)

⇒ x=sin A=\frac{P}{H}

⇒ P=x and H=1 gives B=\sqrt{1-x^2}

hence, sec A=\frac{H}{B}=\frac{1}{\sqrt{1-x^2}}

hence, f(g(x))=\frac{1}{\sqrt{1-x^2}}

Rationalizing, we get

f(g(x))=\frac{\sqrt{1-x^2}}{1-x^2}

Option 1 is correct.

Find the missing side length.
Dima020 [189]

Answer:

a = 4 \\ b = 2 \sqrt{2}

Its a right angle triangle so trigonometry is used.

a is the hypotenuse, b is the adjacent.

Use sin to find a. Use tan to find b.
