Grendel hates the obvious happiness in Hrothgar's hall. He is twice attacked by humans and made invincible by the dragon's magic. He is not accepted by the humans, thus, he makes it his work to kill them.

Both Enrico Fermi and Marie Curie were people devoted to physics, recognized by their contributions on the field of radioactivity. Both gave lectures on several colleges - Fermi lectured on prestigious amercian universities, while Curie did too on european universities for poor students.

Fermi based most of his work on previous experiments in which Curie was a major participant. Curie discovered high activity in several elements, such as polonium, uranium, radium. Fermi focused on artificial radioactivity produced by neutrons.

Both Fermi and Curie are Nobel Prize winners - Fermi was awarded with the Nobel Prize for Physics, and Curie was awarded with the Nobel Prize for Physics and the Nobel Prize for Chemistry.
