The correct answer is - agriculture.

The agriculture is the biggest user of the freshwater on a global scale. It accounts for almost 70%, or more precisely 69%, of the total usage of freshwater in the world. The industry is also a big user, with approximately 19%, and the households and the municipal usage is around 12%.

The agriculture is by far the biggest user of freshwater because the arable land is massive, and it continuously expands. That means that the amount of plants is bigger, and constantly growing, and most of those plants are plants that require much more water than what the nature provides in the place where they are grown.

liq [111]

Answer:

landslide

Explanation:

This question is related to a picture. In the picture you can see that a small town was affected by a landslide located near a steep hill. As the statement reads, it can be a destructive process as not only is the countryside affected by removal of the top earth layer along with all the vegetation in that area, consequence of heavy rainfall or a mayor earthquake or shift in landmass, but it also turns into a constructive process as at the bottom of the hill, where the landslide or mud accumulates, the debris forms a new layer over the old and it is then seen as constructive.

Explain Mexico and Canada's immigration policy! Please Help!!
Sever21 [200]

Canada and Mexico’s importance to the United States is more than simply a border-state phenomenon. The trading relationship between United States and Canada represents the largest bilateral flow of income, goods, and services in the world. Meanwhile, Mexico is the United States’ second largest trading partner. Between NAFTA coming into effect and 2003, two-way trade between Canada and Mexico more than doubled.

The temporary visa category created for Mexican and Canadian NAFTA Professional Workers enabled 92,951 Canadians and 2,571 Mexicans to enter the United States on visas in 2001. In 2002, Mexico was the country of origin of the largest number of legal immigrant admissions to the U.S, and Mexicans represented about 29.8 percent of the total foreign-born population. In comparison, Canadian immigrant admissions were only 1.8 percent of total legal admissions.

How did the early Peruvians adapt to their physical enviorment?
dusya [7]

Peruvian adaptations to their physical environment

Explanation:

The Peruvians adapted to their natural environment of high altitude mountains like the Andes. The mountains created environmental challenges like low temperature, decreased precipitation, poor thin soil etc.

The Peruvians utilized the mountains in the most sustainable and efficient way both for agriculture as well as irrigation purposes. They followed terrace agriculture along the high mountain regions and built aqueducts to supply water for drinking and irrigation.

The agricultural terraces were constructed in such a way it received a good amount of sunlight even though sunlight was blocked by the surrounding high mountains. The crops were spaced widely to ensure proper sunlight and crop growth.

The irrigation system through aqueducts was constructed to prevent flooding.
