Which compromise addressed the conflict between Northern businessmen and Southern plantation owners over the issue of tariffs?
Igoryamba
The first issue over tariffs goes back to the Founding of our country. The 3/5 Compromise and Fugitive Slav Clause were created in response to the issue over tariffs. North wanted them and the South didn't and slavery had the opposite with the South in favor and North against. The North gained a tariff and south was able to keep slavery.

Under Hitler's New Order Group of answer choices racial considerations played a major role in how conquered people were treated.
Ad libitum [116K]

Answer:

conquered areas were directly annexed to Germany.

Explanation:

Hitler's New Order was proclaimed in 1941 by Adolf Hitler. The major component of the New Order is the supremacy of Aryan-Nordic races, territorial expansion into central and Eastern Europe, and annihilation of the racially inferior groups or races.

Hence, in this case, the correct answer is "conquered areas were directly annexed to Germany."

This is evident in the fact that Nazi Germany annexed various conquered territories during World War II.

This includes the likes of the Federal State of Austria, Sudetenland, Bohemia, Czechoslovak Republic, etc.

Everyone who was against slavery thought African Americans should be granted all the rights of white people.
larisa86 [58]

Answer:

False

Explanation:

The main reason why the north was against slavery was due to the fact that is was unnecessary for the inhabitant of the north to have slaves. They mostly thrived in the industry and lumber while the south was more reliant on cash crops so slaves were necessary.

Although they did free the slaves the North only granted them a certain amount of freedoms.
