Zy+4y

=(2)(5)+4(5)
=10+20
=30

p^2÷4-m

=(4)^2÷4-(3)
=16÷1
=16

Answer:  2, 6

Step-by-step explanation:

Triangle Inequality Theorem states that the sum of two sides must be GREATER than the third side.

RS + ST > RT and RS + RT > ST and ST + RT > RS

2x + 4x > 12                  2x + 12 > 4x                  4x + 12  > 2x

       6x > 12                          12 > 2x                          12  > -2x

         x > 2                            6 > x                             -6 < x

         2 < x                             x < 6                             invalid

Answer:  2 < x < 6

Graph:     O----------------------O

                2                          6

Note: -6 is invalid because you cannot have a negative length.

Jack spends 1 2/5 as long on his homework as Jill. Last week, Jill spent 6 3/4 hours doing homework. How long did Jack spend doi
-BARSIC- [3]
6 3/4 hours = (6*60)+45 = 405 minutes
7/5 = 1,4
405 minutes * 1,4 = 567 minutes

What is the slope of the line on the graph? Enter your answer in the box. A coordinate grid that includes the line y equals nega
RUDIKE [14]

we have

the equation of the line is y=-2x

the points are

A(3,-6)\\B(0,0) \\C(-3,6)

Method 1

we know that

A relationship between two variables, x, and y, represent a direct variation if it can be expressed in the form y/x=k or y=kx

In this problem we have a direct variation

The constant of proportionality k is equal to the slope of the line

k=-2

so

m=-2

therefore

the answer is

the slope of the line is equal to

m=-2

Method 2

we know that

the formula to calculate the slope between two points is equal to

m=\frac{y2-y1}{x2-x1}

we have

A(3,-6)\\B(0,0)

substitute in the formula

m=\frac{0+6}{0-3}

m=\frac{6}{-3}

m=-2

therefore

the answer is

the slope of the line is equal to

m=-2

Explain what it means to have a correlation in a scatter plot.
vesna_86 [32]

Answer:The relationship between the two variables is known as correlation. If the points are close to each other and making a straight line in the scatter plot, then two variables are said to have a high correlation. If the points are equally distributed in the scatter plot, the correlation is said to be low, or zero.
