No the following coordinates do not show a function because of the y-values. In the pairs that you have, (3,5) and (0,5) have the y-values of "5" that are repeating.

Hope this helps. I learned that in math.

What is the measure of ABC and please show me how to do it
oksano4ka [1.4K]
Arc length from A to C (red line) is the given inside angle times 2, so AC = 50*2 = 100 degrees.

A full circle is 360 degrees, so arc ABC (blue line) would be 360 - 100 = 260 degrees.

The answer is D.

In this question , all lengths are in centimetres. AB= 3x-4,AC=2x+12,BC=7x-2.given AB:AC=1:2 show that AC:BC=2:3
Lelu [443]

Answer:

AX : XB as AB : AC

AX = 5

XB = 4

AC = 6

AB = x

Step-by-step explanation:

5 : 4 as to x : 6

ratios can also be written as fractions...

5/4 = x/6 ..now we have a proportion...so we cross multiply

(4)(x) = (5)(6)

4x = 30

x = 30/4

x = 15/2 <==== AB = 15/2

Multiplying Powers with the Same Base
Luda [366]

Applying the product rule of exponents, each product of powers are matched with its simplified expression as:

1. 5 \times 5^3 = 5^4

2. 5 \times 5^3 = 5^4

3. 5^{-3} \times 5^{-3} = \frac{1}{5^6}

4. 5^{-4} \times 5^{4} \times 5^0 = 5^0

5. 5^{7} \times 5^{3} = 5^{10}

To multiply the powers having the same base, we will apply the product rule for exponents.

<h3>What is the Product Rule for Exponents?</h3>
  • Base on the product rule for exponents, we have, a^m \times a^n = a^{m + n} = a^{mn}.
  • In order to find the products of two given numbers that have the same base, the exponents would be added together.

1. 5^6 \times 5^{-4

Add the exponents together

5^6 \times 5^{-4} = 5^{(6) + (-4)}

5^6 \times 5^{-4} = 5^2

2. 5 \times 5^3

Add the exponents together

5 \times 5^3 = 5^{(1 + 3)}

5 \times 5^3 = 5^4

3. 5^{-3} \times 5^{-3}

Add the exponents together

5^{-3} \times 5^{-3} = 5^{(-3) + (-3)

5^{-3} \times 5^{-3} = 5^{-6

5^{-3} \times 5^{-3} = \frac{1}{5^6}

4. 5^{-4} \times 5^{4} \times 5^0

Add the exponents together

5^{-4} \times 5^{4} \times 5^0 = 5^{(-4) + (4) + (0)

5^{-4} \times 5^{4} \times 5^0 = 5^0

5. 5^{7} \times 5^{3}

Add the exponents together

5^{7} \times 5^{3} = 5^{10}

In summary, applying the product rule of exponents, each product of powers are matched with its simplified expression as:

1. 5 \times 5^3 = 5^4

2. 5 \times 5^3 = 5^4

3. 5^{-3} \times 5^{-3} = \frac{1}{5^6}

4. 5^{-4} \times 5^{4} \times 5^0 = 5^0

5. 5^{7} \times 5^{3} = 5^{10}
