You've already correctly labeled everything you need.

-- Ignore the lines  YZ  and  YT .

-- That leaves you with the right triangle   XYW .

-- Its legs are  8  and  (12+3) = 15 .

-- XY  is its hypotenuse.

I'm SURE you can finish it off from here.

I need to know what is 190% of 40?
MrRissso [65]
40/x=100/190 40/x=100/190
(40/x)*x=(100/190)*x
40=0.526315789474*x
(0.56315789474) to get x
40/0.536315789474=x
76=x
x=76 now we have 190% of 76

ellen buys 24 ounces of green beans at the grocery store. the green beans cost $1.90 per pound. how much does she pay for the gr
RideAnS [48]

Answer:

  $2.85

Step-by-step explanation:

The price Ellen pays can be found using the proportion ...

  price/(24 oz) = $1.90/(16 oz)

Multiplying by 24 oz, we get ...

  price = $1.90(24/16) = $2.85

Ellen pays $2.85 for the beans.
