Some of the dangers a farmer might face are drought or flooding....
Drought is a main problem in the middle east. Drought has always been a problem in the middle east because it could result in big problems when you grow your crops. A way to prevent this problem would be having a big storage and supply of water to help the crops.
Flooding is the opposite of drought....A lot of water can destroy every single crop because of it's enormous non-stoping supply of water and rainfalls. In this situation, channels would be really useful so that the water can flow and not damage the crops, it would go back to the lake or ocean.
In the Middle East, you can expect mainly earthquakes to happen. Earthquakes also result in other natural disasters such as mudslides and floods. To prepare for earthquakes, you can pratice what to do during an actual earthquake such as if you're a farmer and outside, you would want to get to an open area to avoid powerlines, trees, or anything that could come down. To also prepare for or prevent a mudslide, plant and water diversion are good methods to stay safe. You can also make sure you plant appropriately on hills. For floods, you can always ask others about relocation routes and centres. On top of that, if possible, you can prepare a household flood plan.
A Meteorologist analyzes weather patterns and predicts weather events.
Meteorology is the study of the atmosphere, focusing on weather forcasting. Therefore the only option that makes sense is, "analyzes weather patterns and predicts weather events"
Physical factors that influence the location of a settlement include; 1. Water supply – settlements need water, they often locate on wet point sites for this. Settlements built away from rivers and water supplies to avoid flooding are located at dry point sites.
