4 0

Answer:

1 1/8

Step-by-step explanation:

If you add 5/8 + 4/8 you get 1.125.

then you will find out what 1/8=, 9/8=,

1/8= .125

9/8= 1.1.25

so 1 + 1.125 is to much and just 9/8 is not the lowest term.

1+1/8 = 1.125.

Hope this helps!

5/8 + 4/8
the answer is 1.125
or 9/8 or 1 and 1/8
basically you keep the denominator the same but add the top numbers so it would be 9/8. simplified: 1 1/8

The average college lecture hall (auditorium) can seat 60 students with a standard deviation of 21. Assume that a total of 60 le
fiasKO [112]

Answer:

The standard deviation of the sample mean is  \sigma _ {\= x } = 2.711

Step-by-step explanation:

From the question we are told that

   The mean is  \= x = 60

    The standard deviation is  \sigma = 21

     The sample size is n = 60

Generally the standard deviation of the sample mean is mathematically represented as

               \sigma _ {\=  x } =  \frac{\sigma  }{\sqrt{n} }

substituting values

               \sigma _ {\=  x } =  \frac{ 21 }{\sqrt{60} }

               \sigma _ {\= x } = 2.711

A sine function increasing through the origin can be used to model light waves. Violet light has a wavelength of 400 nanometers.
andrew11 [14]

Answer:

(2) (100, 300)

Step-by-step explanation:

One wave can be divided on 4 parts, as show on the picture.

Since a length of one whole wave equals 400, a length of each part is 400:4=100 nanometers.

The height of the wave is decreasing on the second and on the third part, hence over the interval (100, 300).

The football coach bought enough sports mix to make 60 L of a sports drink.
Ilya [14]

the coach makes a total volume of 60 L of a sports drink

we have to find the number of cups he can fill with the drink

1 cup is equivalent to 0.5 pints

so we have to first convert L to pints

1 L = 2.11 pt

then 60 L = 126.6 pt

the volume of sports drink made is 126.6 pt

so 0.5 pt make - 1 cup

then 126.6 pt make - 1 / 0.5 x 126.6 = 253.2 cups

he can make 253 full cups and 0.2 of a cup

answer is 253.2 cups
