The formula for the area of a triangle given two sides and their included angle is
(1/2)(a)(b)=cos(x) just plug in your numbers and solve
(1/2)(7)(11.1)cos(84) making sure that you are in degree mode since the angle measure is given in degrees
I get 4.1 in^2

Answer:

fx(x)=[(4! /(x!)*(4-x)!]*[(0.3) ^x]*[(0.7) ^ (4-x)]

Step-by-step explanation:

F(x) is been calculated by considering X (moderate) as one outcome and low and high combined as one outcome now probability function will be same as binomial distribution

F(x) = [(4! /(x!)*(4-x)!]*[(0.3) ^x]*[(0.7) ^ (4-x)]

Given:

Consider the pentagon MVEDR is dilated with the origin as the center of dilation using the rule (x,y)\to(\dfrac{2}{3}x,\dfrac{2}{3}y) to create pentagon M'V'E'D'R'.

To find:

The correct statement.

Solution:

If a figure dilated by factor k, then the rule of dilation is

(x,y)\to (kx,ky)

Here,

If k>1, then the image is larger than the original figure.

If k<1, then the image is smaller than the original figure.

We have,

(x,y)\to(\dfrac{2}{3}x,\dfrac{2}{3}y)

Here, M'V'E'D'R' is image and MVEDR is original figure. The scale factor is

k=\dfrac{2}{3}

Pentagon M'V'E'D'R' is smaller than pentagon MVEDR because the scale factor is less than 1.

Therefore, the correct option is B.
