This is because the Calvin cycle needs the ATP and NADPH produced by the light reactions. In this way, the Calvin cycle depends

Answer:

No, light dependent reaction does not depend on Calvin cycle.

Explanation:

Calvin cycle occurs in the second phase of photosynthesis i. e. light independent reaction. In this process, carbondioxide fixation takes place in the leaves of the plant. Light dependent reaction occurs first in which ATP and NADPH are produced which are used in Calvin cycle of light independent reaction for the production of sugar molecule such as glucose. So light dependent reaction does not depend on Calvin cycle.

Use the probability method to calculate the genotypes and genotypic proportions of a cross between AABBCc and Aabbcc parents.
lora16 [44]

For this, you need to use Punnett squares.

You know the genotype of the parents, and for the cross, you need to separate into two alleles, both genes.

AABBCc divided like ABC and ABc.

Aabbcc divided like Abc and abc.

Now you can cross them, and all probabilities will be:

AABbCc, AaBbCc, AABbcc and AaBbcc

So, you could say 25% of the offspring will be AaBbCc, 25% AaBbcc, 25% AABbCc, and 25% AABbcc

Explain why organisms need enzymes to survive.
kotykmax [81]
Enzymes are catalysts in chemical reactions. What this means is that they speed up chemical reactions, which in turn means that all the actions necessary for our metabolisms occur as a result of catalysts. This goes from fighting illnesses and diseases to dissolving food. We couldn't live without them because our metabolisms would be so slow that we would die as nothing could work.
