2. Which kind of model do you think best represents the profit for each business? Explain.

3. Find a function that models the profit you can expect, based on your projections, for each business. You can round your values to the nearest thousandth, as needed.

4. Look at the functions that describe the profits of each business. Why do you think the a-value of the lawn care business is negative while the a-values of the dog walking and housesitting businesses are positive?

Answer:

The lawn care is the most sucsessful. The most money is earned and the uh House shelter or whatever is in the middle and the dog thing is the least sucsesful with the money.

For the second,i dont get it.

The lawn care is wealthy BUT never judge a book by its cover so the lawn care (lc)may be dirty, smelly, uncivilized,or just no privacey.

A Christmas jar contains 550 m&ms. Of all the m&ms, 2/5 are green and the rest are red. What is the ratio of green to re
vazorg [7]

Answer:

2:3 unless it wants it in total, then 220:330

Step-by-step explanation:

it gives you the answer with the fraction.  A ratio is basically saying with x:y for every x number of one thing there are y number of another.  In this case we know 2/5 will be green, so how many will be red?  3/5.  So for every 2 greens there are 3 reds.

Another way of looking at it is for the totals.  there are 550 total, so 2/5 of that is green.  2/5 of 550 is 220, while 3/5 is 330  so that means of the 550, the ratio is 220:330.  Kinda like simplifying fractions where 220/550 is the same thing as 2/5

I think your answer should be C. 160,934 Centimeters. :) I rounded it to the nearest thousand, and it is 161,000. I also rounded it to the nearest ten thousand, and it was 160,000. So, C is your answer.
