<span>Trench warfare is a type of land warfare using occupied fighting lines consisting largely of trenches, in which troops are significantly protected from the enemy's small arms fire and are substantially sheltered from artillery. A "theocracy" is run by religious and political leaders, whereas a "patriarchy" is run by men only, although it should be noted that the two are not mutually exclusive in the sense that it would be possible to have a theocracy run by only men.
The Marshall plan was to help build up Western European nations due to the fact that communism spreads easiest in poverty stricken war torn countries. Then to make it worst Europe is a collective of several countries that are closest to America’s borders from the Atlantic, so to further containing communism in the east, they had to solidify the Democracy in the west.
