The HOSA is a student organization that has the purpose of supporting students that are part of health science careers or are interested in beginning a career in this industry. In terms of history, this organization was founded and defined in the constitutional convention of 1976, which took part in Texas. Moreover, during this convention, the organization changed its original name AHOESO by HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) and defined its purpose. Aso, this organization expanded since its foundation and now is known as Future Health Professionals.
