As part of your summer research project, your professor has asked you to perform comparative genomic hybridization (CGH). He giv

es you DNA from one person who you know nothing about (referred to as the test subject). You use this DNA as a template to make green fluorescent DNA. You also make red fluorescent DNA with DNA from a control person. When you perform CGH, you are surprised to find that the ratio of green to red fluorescence is 2 along all of chromosome 18. You conclude:____________.A. the control person must be missing chromosome 18.
B. the test subject is likely to have cancer.
C. the test subject likely has Edward Syndrome.

Help!! I'm doing a lab report and am unsure which variables are independent, dependent, and controlled. My lab is due tomorrow
victus00 [196]

Im not sure but if you think of it, the one that you didn't put any salt is a independent  variable because it doesn't really rely on anything it doesn't have salt. The Dependent variable would be the 2nd and the 3rd cup because it doesn't have much salt but the 4th cup has lots of salt so its basically controlled. Hope it helps !
