A delivery truck is transporting boxes of two sizes: large and small. The large boxes weigh 45 pounds each, and the small boxes
Svetllana [295]
You have effectively wasted 1 hour of my time. Congratulations.

115 = 65 + 50

45(65) + 35(50) = 2925 + 1750 = 4675
45(50) + 35(65) = 2250 + 2275 = 4525

115 = 55 + 60

45(55) + 35(60) = 2475 + 2100 = 4575

Therefore 55 large boxes and 60 small boxes. Absolutely no more of these questions; I got stuck for 40 minutes using trial and error, even though that's the only way you can solve two variables in one equation with integers.

What is the value of the x variable in the solution to the following system of equations? (1 point) 4x + 2y = 6 x − y = 3 −1 5 −
atroni [7]
Equations are: 4x + 2y = 6
x - y = 3
Multiply 2nd equation by 2,
2x - 2y = 6
Add both the equations,
6x = 12
x = 12/6
x = 2

In short, Your Answer would be 2

Hope this helps!

Martin charges $15 for every 5 bags of leaves he rakes. Last weekend, he raked 27 bags of leaves. How much money did he earn?
Burka [1]
Set up a proportion and then cross multiply to solve. OR. 15/5 = $3 per bag is the unit rate per 1 bag.
Multiply 27*3=$81
