All of the given statements are correct except the majority of acquisitions increase long-term value for the acquiring firm.

Answer: Option C

<u>Explanation:</u>

Acquisition can be very strategic for companies as it is a process by which one company buys some or all of the shares of other company and assimilate in itself. It is very commonly seen that the stock price of the acquiring firms declines once the announcement of planned acquisition is made.

One of the interesting aspects of acquisition is that shareholders of acquiring firms usually earn very little returns which are almost zero whereas the shareholders of acquired firms earn returns above the average returns.

The primary function of a sectional view is to reveal:_______.
nikklg [1K]

Answer:

The primary function of a sectional view is to reveal:_______.

c) Interior features

Explanation:

Imagine you draw a machine. What people can see in your drawing is the outside of the machine, how it looks externally. If you wish to show people what the machine looks like on the inside, you will need to draw a sectional view of it. It's as if you are drawing the machine with part of it cut open, as if a section of it has been removed.

Another example I could give you is when Medicine and Biology students study anatomy. Since they need to see what bodies look like on the inside, they often work with sectional view drawings of body parts.

What are some possible benefits to a nomadic lifestyle, and what are some possible benefits to a town lifestyle?
Nastasia [14]
Town lifestyle (I assume you mean by this: a settled lifestyle , so that it contrasts with the nomadic lifestyle) comes with more security: you can store your food reserves and plan for the future.

nomadic lifestyle gives you more flexibility but less security: you can travel elsewhere if your fodosource is runnign low... but usually this is not as good of a food source as a settled lifestyle. One other possible advantage could be being merchants: nomads can benefit from a trade.
