Answer:

Slope = 63

 x-intercept = 2/63 = 0.03175

 y-intercept = 2/-1 = -2.00000

Step-by-step explanation:

Rearrange:

Rearrange the equation by subtracting what is to the right of the equal sign from both sides of the equation :

                    4*x+y-(193*x-2*y-6)=0

Step by step solution :

Step  1  :

Pulling out like terms :

1.1     Pull out like factors :

  -189x + 3y + 6  =   -3 • (63x - y - 2)

Equation at the end of step  1  :

Step  2  :

Equations which are never true :

2.1      Solve :    -3   =  0

This equation has no solution.

A a non-zero constant never equals zero.

Equation of a Straight Line

2.2     Solve   63x-y-2  = 0

Tiger recognizes that we have here an equation of a straight line. Such an equation is usually written y=mx+b ("y=mx+c" in the UK).

"y=mx+b" is the formula of a straight line drawn on Cartesian coordinate system in which "y" is the vertical axis and "x" the horizontal axis.

In this formula :

y tells us how far up the line goes

x tells us how far along

m is the Slope or Gradient i.e. how steep the line is

b is the Y-intercept i.e. where the line crosses the Y axis

The X and Y intercepts and the Slope are called the line properties. We shall now graph the line  63x-y-2  = 0 and calculate its properties

Graph of a Straight Line :

Calculate the Y-Intercept :

Notice that when x = 0 the value of y is 2/-1 so this line "cuts" the y axis at y=-2.00000

 y-intercept = 2/-1  = -2.00000

Calculate the X-Intercept :

When y = 0 the value of x is 2/63 Our line therefore "cuts" the x axis at x= 0.03175

 x-intercept = 2/63  =  0.03175

Calculate the Slope :

Slope is defined as the change in y divided by the change in x. We note that for x=0, the value of y is -2.000 and for x=2.000, the value of y is 124.000. So, for a change of 2.000 in x (The change in x is sometimes referred to as "RUN") we get a change of 124.000 - (-2.000) = 126.000 in y. (The change in y is sometimes referred to as "RISE" and the Slope is m = RISE / RUN)

    Slope     = 63

Geometric figure: Straight Line

 Slope = 63

 x-intercept = 2/63 = 0.03175

 y-intercept = 2/-1 = -2.00000

Alja [10]
1. Yes he would be able to but the back pack and he would actually have 18 to spare. Explanation- he saves $9 a week so if he saves for 7 weeks then he will have $63 but since he only needed 45 he will have 18 to spare
2. Since they have 65.50 but need to have 180 then u could just subtract 180 from 65.50 so they would 114.5 more dollars

Nate's savings account for the business had $12.10 more at the end of the year than the $252 it had at the begining of the year.
Ulleksa [173]
4.58% is the answer. You need to add the $12.10 to $252 to get the total. 252x100%=2500÷264.10 then subtract the answer from 100.

Waylon is back-to-school shopping with his mom at a large department
levacccp [35]

Answer:

Waylon's Purchase will cost $198.05, and section B depends.

Explanation: Section A is 85% of 233 since thats the total, making the answer to section A $198.05. The answer to section B depends because if he wants more school supplies, then yes, he would want to buy more things for better deals. But if he’s on a budget, then he wouldn't want to spend as much money since saving 20% on something over $300 is more than saving 15% on something over $200.

Use exterior angles to solve for interior angles.
Dmitry [639]

Answer:

I could be mistaken but I believe that x= 42.5

Step-by-step explanation:

To find this, you solve for 4x+10=180.

This is because the total angle measure of line RD should be 180 degrees.

When you solve this equation, you get 42.5 for X
