I supposed π ≈ 3.14 and we have A = 490.87 km²:

Area(A) is: A = π × r² or 3.14 × r² = 490.87 →

r² = 490.87/3.14 → r² = 156,32 → r = √156,32 → r = 12.5

But diameter (d) is: d = 2 × r → d = 2 × 12.5 →d = 50 km

What would the answer to this question be?
A. 40°
B. 60°
C. 80°
D. 100°
Alex777 [14]

Answer:

D. 100°

Step-by-step explanation:

A straight line is 180°. Add 50° and 30° (which is 80°) and subtract the total from 180°.

50 + 30 = 80

180 - 80 = 100

Solve the equation for y.
2x + 5y = 5
y=x +1
y= -10% + 25
y=22+1
y=x +5
Elena-2011 [213]

Answer:

y=-2/5x+1

y=x+1

y=249/10

y=23

y=x+5

Step-by-step explanation:

Let's solve for x.

y=x+5

Step 1: Flip the equation.

x+5=y

Step 2: Add -5 to both sides.

x+5+−5=y+−5

x=y−5

Answer:

x=y−5

Need to know the area of the composite figure.
MariettaO [177]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

you can figure out the area by using two formulas: area of a circle (on each end are two semi circles which when combined, make a circle) and area of a rectangle

Acircle: pi(r^2) = pi(5^2) = 25pi

Arectangle: length*width = 20*10 = 200ft^2

area of composite figure: (25pi ft^2) + 200ft^2

Find a degree 3 polynomial with real coefficients having zeros 1 and 2-2i and a lead coefficient of 1. Write P in expanded form.
amm1812

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

complex roots always occur in pairs.

roots are 1,2-2i,2+2i

P(x)=a(x-a)(x-b)(x-c)

P(x)=1(x-1)[x-(2-2i)][x-(2+2i)]

=1(x-1)[(x-2)+2i][(x-2)-2i]

=(x-1)[(x-2)²-(2i)²]

=(x-1)[(x-2)²-4i²]

=(x-1)[x²-4x+4-4(-1)]

=(x-1)[x²-4x+4+4]

=(x-1)[x²-4x+8]

=x³-4x²+8x-x²+4x-8

=x³-5x²+12x-8
