In the year 1961, on the day of March 6th President John F. Kennedy, affirmative action was created from the executive order 10925. In the order, it has been stated that government contractor has to take affirmative action to make sure that job aspirants should be given employment and during the employment period, they should not be treated according to their race, color, creed, or national origin.
But those who are against this affirmative action thought that unequal treatment meted out to the majority groups resulting from privileged policies, as in college admissions or employment, proposed to remedy earlier inequity against minorities.
