Answer:

An active listener pays close attention to what other people in a debate are saying.

Explanation:

A debate discusses an issue where the participants either present their views in favour or against the issue. For instance, if the issue is ‘giving Homework to students’. The participants can either speak in favour stating ‘homework should be given’ or against stating ‘homework should not be given’.

The points presented should be heard carefully in order to reach a conclusion. A listener who listens carefully weighing the arguments in his mind can decide the conclusion. He can be an active participant expressing his point of view, members of jury or the audience.

Which word form correctly completes this sentence?
Natali [406]
C) idealistic

In order to fit into this blank of the sentence, the word needed to be an adjective--the adjective is used to describe Sarah's views. "idealistic" is an adjective, therefore this is the proper word form to fit into the overall sentence.

What does this means? (Long way down novel)
lesya692 [45]

Answer:

I believe it means, you can either join someone and work with them and "get down with them" so do things with them, or get beaten by them and be "crushed" by them. Similar to the saying if you can't beat them, join them. Just a bit different meaning pick to join them or get beaten by them.

Explanation:

I'm not 100% sure but this is my best interpretation. I hope this helped!! Brainliest if it did?? No pressure!
