colonists stood up for themselves, they demanded freedom and if they didn't get it handed to them they would fight and die to be free, if they gave in to the British we would be under British rule unless if they decided to let us be free we also wouldn't have any of our rights and laws that allow us to do almost anything we want excluding crime and if it wasn't for us fighting for freedom then the U.K. would probably have almost complete control over the world because the United States fought off the most powerful country in the world with very little resources and soldiers compared to the British.

this isn't from sources i just know a lot about it.

Anettt [7]

Answer:

Natural rights and popular sovereignty

Explanation:

In relation to democracy, natural rights are each individual person's right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness (if based on Thomas Jefferson's ideals, life liberty and property if based on John Locke's ideals) which are pretty important as they give each person their indivudual freedoms. Poplar sovereugnty basically means that elected representatives get their power from the consent of the people, which most modern day democracys rely on to stay functioning effectively.

Suppose you were traveling west from Mississippi River to the pacific coast . In term of elevation , describe the land on your r
marusya05 [52]

If we start to travel from the Mississippi River westwards to the Pacific Coast, than the starting point is a lowland, vast one, as we continue to go towards the west we will encounter high mountains, the Rocky Mountains more specifically, and the elevation will go up to 4,400 meters above sea level, than we will go down, elevation wise, to the high plateaus and will be on elevations between 1,000 and 2,000 meters, and after we go up again to almost 4,400 meters as we cross the Cascade Mountains. After the Cascades we go gradually downwards towards the lowlands, where we will first go a bit bellow sea level, and than little up in the lowlands along the Pacific Coast, and at the end reach a point of zero elevation.

Why was it important for the americans to win the support of france during the revolution?
VikaD [51]
We had lack of supplies going into the war. So, getting support from France and other countries would help our military in the fight against Great Britain.

Also, France had more experience fighting, and therefore, help train our soldiers.

Americans also did not have much of a navy. So, with over 10,000 French soldiers and 30,000 French sailors, the French help was very important to our military.

When we became allies with the French, it helped our trade.

When the French helped us, it opened doors for other countries to assist us
