The volume of a sphere is 1928pi m^3. what is the surface area of the sphere to the nears tenth
nika2105 [10]
\bf \begin{array}{llll}
\textit{volume of a sphere}\\\\
V=\cfrac{4\pi r^3}{3}\\
----------\\
\textit{surface area of a sphere}\\\\
S=4\pi r^2
\end{array}\qquad r=radius\\\\
-----------------------------\\\\
V=1928\implies 1928=\cfrac{4\pi r^3}{3}\implies \cfrac{3\cdot 1928}{4\pi }=r^3
\\\\\\
\sqrt[3]{\cfrac{3\cdot 1928}{4\pi }}=\boxed{r}\qquad thus
\\\\\\
S=4\pi \left( \boxed{\sqrt[3]{\cfrac{3\cdot 1928}{4\pi }}} \right)^2

Jerry had 1 gallon of ice cream. He used 4/10 gallon to make chocolate milkshake and 0.30 gallon to make vanilla milkshake. How
stiv31 [10]
0.30 is the same as 3/10 so then you would add 3/10 and 4/10 which equals 7/10 which then gives you with 3/10 ice cream left

Hi There!

----------------------------------

Question 2:

Obviously the right equation for this question is Point Slope Form.

Point Slope Form: y - y1 = m(x - x1)

y1 = -1

x1 = 3

m = 2

Question 2 Answer: y + 1 = 2(x - 3)

----------------------------------

Question 3:

Again use point slope form.

Find Slope:

7 - 1 = 6

-2 - 1 = -3

6/-3 = -2

Question 3 Answer: y - 1 = -2(x - 1)
