Answer:

In 12 months the amount paid to both dealerships will be equal.

The amount paid to each dealership = $3900

Step-by-step explanation:

Here, let x is the number of months when both the dealerships cost same.

<u>DEALERSHIP - A</u>

Fixed down payment =   $1500

The installment for each day  =  $200

⇒ Installments of x days  = x ( Installment for 1 day)  = $200 (x)  = 200 x

⇒ Total payment to Dealership

= Fixed amount + Installment amount in x days

= $1500 + 200 x

<u>DEALERSHIP - B</u>

Fixed down payment =   $3000

The installment for each day  =  $75

⇒ Installments of x days  = x ( Installment for 1 day)  = $75 (x)  = 75 x

⇒ Total payment to Dealership

= Fixed amount + Installment amount in x days

= $3000 + 75 x

Now, according to the question in x days, they both are paid same amount.

⇒$1500 + 200 x   = $3000 + 75 x

or, 200 x  - 75  x = 30000  - 1500

or, 125 x  =  1500

⇒ x = 1500 /125  = 12

or x  = 12

Amount paid  = $ 3000 + 75 x

                        = 3000 + 75(12)  = $3900

Hence, after 12 months the amount paid to both dealerships will be equal.

The amount paid to each dealership = $3900

What is the volume of a cylinder with a radius of 10 meters and a height of 4 meters?
Licemer1 [7]

Answer:

The volume of the cylinder is about 1256.6 cubic meters.

Step-by-step explanation:

The volume of a cylinder is given by the formula:

\displaystyle V=\pi r^2h

Where <em>r</em> is the radius and <em>h</em> is the height.

Our radius is 10 meters and our height is four meters. Substitute:

\displaystyle V=\pi(10)^2(4)

Evaluate:

V=400\pi \text{ m}^3\approx 1256.6\text{ m}^3

Thus, the volume of the cylinder is about 1256.6 cubic meters.

Subtract using the number line -3/5 - (-2/5) (picture provided)
lara31 [8.8K]

Answer:

<h2>-1/5</h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

Starting at -3/5 you need to subtract -2/5.

When you subtract a negative number, the sign flips and you add instead. Often, you are taught that two similar signs means add and two opposite signs mean minus.

<em>+ + = +</em>

<em>- - = -</em>

<em>+ - = -</em>

<em>- + = -</em>

<em />

This means -3/5 - -2/5 becomes -3/5 + 2/5.

Because you are adding, you move two lines to the right on the number line.

You end at -1/5.

Triangle DEF has vertices D(−4, 1), E(2, 3), and F(2, 1) and is dilated by a factor of 3 using the point (1, 1) as the point of
CaHeK987 [17]

Answer: D'(-14,1);\ E'(4,7);\ F'(4,1)

Step-by-step explanation:

Since the center of dilation is not at the origin, we can use the following formula in order to find the coordinates of the vertices of the triangle D'E'F':

D_{O,k}(x,y)=(k(x-a)+a, k(y-b)+b)

Where "O" is the center of dilation at (a,b) and "k" is the scale factor.

In this case you can identify that:

(a,b)=(1,1)\\k=3

Therefore, susbtituting values into the formula shown above, you get that the coordinates ot the resulting triangle D'E'F, are the following:

Vertex D' → (3(-4-1)+1,\ 3(1-1)+1)=(-14,1)

Vertex E' → (3(2-1)+1,\ 3(3-1)+1)=(4,7)

Vertex F' → (3(2-1)+1,\ 3(1-1)+1)=(4,1)
