I think it is 15 hours If you wrote better I could've explained better but if that cost $5 per 5 Hour that means you spend $1 per 1 hour so if you spend $15 that mean you used bike for 15 hours

Consider the graph and equation, y = 3x, that represent Alonso’s walking speed. What relationship is represented by this equatio
natulia [17]

Answer with explanation:

The equation, y=3 x,

y=Distance traveled

x =Total time

\frac{\text{Distance traveled}}{\text{Time}}=\frac{y}{x}=3\\\\ \frac{dy}{dx}={\text{Rate of change}}={\text{Velocity}}=3 {\text{unit of time}]

Also, in terms of straight line

Slope =3= uniform Velocity

Point (3,9) and (5,15) represents Distance traveled in 3 (unit of time) =9 unit ,and 15 unit=Distance traveled in 5 (Unit of time).

→Alonso is moving with uniform speed=3 (unit of time), as velocity remains constant in the entire process.

It takes Harland 15 minutes to rake all leaves in the front yard. If Trudy scatters the leaves while Harland rakes, it takes him
Alinara [238K]
If T were to scatters the leaves faster than H rakes them, H would Neve finish raking. So must be over 20 minutes

1/15-1/T=1/20
4/60-1/T=3/60
T=60 mins

So it would take Trudy 60 minutes to scatter all of the leaves

PLEASE HELP!!!! Identify the mistake and use the correct answer to the problem!!!
Tems11 [23]

Answer:

1 \frac{3}{8}

Step-by-step explanation:

the denominators must be the same so, since 4 goes evenly into 24 we can create an equivalent fraction from 3/4 to 18/24 (multiply numerator and denominator by 6)

now you can add:

\frac{15}{24} + \frac{18}{24} = \frac{(15+18)}{24} = \frac{33}{24}

since the numerator is larger than the denominator this is called an improper fraction and can be changed into a mixed number by dividing 24 into 33

24 goes into 33 one time with a remainder of 9

so 33/24 = 1 \frac{9}{24} wherein 9 and 24 can each have a 3 factored out to make it fully simplified

9÷3 = 3

24÷3 = 8

final answer is 1 \frac{3}{8}
